Pot-Limit, Limit and NL Hold’em,Omaha and Hi-Lo are all offered, but there are no Stud and Draw games. sometimes, there is a ‘7 Card Stud’ tab, but no games are ever running.

Software 7/10

The Onlypoker software is stable and polished. The lobby is clear and functional, with a drop down filter and pop-up boxes with key tournament alerts. Graphics are clean and classy, with the color scheme offering a ‘vintage’ feel. There are extensive, fully customizable player avatars. Tracking software compatibility is restricted – the latest Pokertracker, Version 3, does not support the Cake network, although Poker Edge does. It’s the functionality of the software as a whole that lets it down. Although re-sizing the tables doesn’t affect the quality of the graphics, there is no ‘mini-view’ option, which makes handling more than five tables practically impossible. Animations aren’t as smooth as on Full Tilt or Pokerstars, and, if we’re really nitpicking, pauses after a hand seem to be fractionally too long. The saving grace is the accessibility of instant hand history.

Customer Support 8.5/10

Only Poker offers 24 hour support via e-mail and phone. The response time isn’t as fast as some of other sites such as Pokerstars or Fulltilt, but still acceptable to most. The telephone support isn’t much use for getting sophisticated answer but still available.

Where can I see my bonus?

While logged on to Only Poker you can view your bonus details, along with all your real money account details, by clicking on the Cashier tab. All bonus funds are listed under the Pending Bonus section of your account.

How do I earn my bonus funds?

Pending Bonus funds are earned out in $10 increments based on Frequently Player Points (FPPs) accumulated through Real money ring or tournament game play (167 FPPs = $10 in bonus money). When viewing your Pending Bonus within the Cashier tab, you’ll find an FPP amount listed under the dollar amount. Those are the FPPs needed to earn out your next $10.

How do I earn Frequent Player Points?

When you are dealt cards at any real money ring game, you’ll earn 1 FPP for every dollar raked. In tournament play, you’ll earn 7 FPPs per dollar in tournament fees paid. At Only Poker, we believe that every penny counts, so we’re accurate down to the penny when it comes to FPPs. For example, if your table was raked $1.25, you’ll earn 1.25 FPPs.

Do bonus funds expire?

You will have 90 days, dated from the posting of your Pending Bonus funds to your account, to earn them out to your available balance. If you are currently earning a bonus and have the opportunity to receive another bonus (like a reload bonus), you will need to earn out your first current pending bonus before you can begin to earn your new bonus. Please note that the expiration date on your new bonus will be set from the day you made the deposit and not on the day that you actually begin to earn out the new bonus.

Can bonus offers be combined?

You can layer your Only Poker bonus offers if you are eligible to receive all offers. For example, if you’re new to Only Poker and are eligible to receive our 100% First Time Deposit Bonus and we’re offering a Reload Bonus, you can take advantage of both offers. Collecting Gold Cards is as easy as taking a seat at any stake or level of a Only Poker Real money ring game. In order for you to develop a solid redemption strategy and ensure that you get the best value for your reward collection it’s important to learn about Gold Cards.

How do I earn a Gold Card?

By taking a seat in any of our Real money ring games, you’re eligible to receive a Gold Card. As there are no minimum requirements necessary to earn a Gold Card, you may receive one on your first hand, even if you fold!

How does it work?

A Gold Card is released every time the table reaches a pre-determined rake amount. Therefore, you will see Gold Cards more frequently at the higher limit tables (even though Gold Cards fall at all levels and stakes of our ring games). When you earn a Gold Card, you’ll see it move towards your spot at the table, and from there it will be issued to your Gold Cards collection (within your Only Poker rewards portfolio).

What is the value of a Gold Card?

Collecting Gold Cards is like collecting hocky cards or other memorabilia. While some will hold instant value on their own, others may increase in value as your collection grows and time passes. The fun part is in how you play them. Before redeeming your cards, get familiar with judging their value by the following indicators:

By Card
In a regular deck of cards, each individual card holds a different value based on its number or face, and its suit; Gold Cards are no different. Use our Gold Card Odds chart to help determine value.

By Year
A sash is displayed on every Gold Card you receive. In fact, when reviewing your collection via the Rewards tab on the Only Poker software, you’ll see game cards for each year series.

If you’ve just received a Gold Card, the banner will show 2008. Our 2009 series is due to start hitting the tables in Spring 2009.

Where can I view my Gold Cards?

Gold Cards earned are safely stored within your Only Poker Rewards portfolio. When logged in to Only Poker, you can view your personal Gold Card collection by choosing the ‘Rewards’ tab. We’ll also send you a monthly Only Poker Rewards Statement newsletter that will provide you with your personal Gold Card count.

Do Gold Cards expire?

Collecting Gold Cards is much like collecting any other commodity, such as stamps or trading cards. Older cards may hold more value as the Series roll along, but they never expire.

How do you win?

In each series, we’ll award $52,000 to the player who is first to fill an entire 52 deck series card. As we’re now in Series 09, that means you must complete a full card, and therefore hold a collection with all 52 Series 09 Gold Cards. If the Series ends, and no one has collected a full deck, the Jackpot will be awarded to the player who comes closets to this milestone and holds the most ‘unique set’ of Series 09 Gold Cards.

Only Poker players earn Frequent Player Points (FPPs) when playing in our Real money ring or tournament games. At Only Poker, FPPs accumulate to become Gold Chips, which are redeemable for free tournament play and prizes.

Turning FPPs to Gold

How do your FPPs become Gold? FPP are automatically exchanged for Gold Chips. FPPs accumulated turn in to Gold Chips at a descending rate; each calendar month. After earning your first Gold Chip you’ll need fewer FPPs to earn your next, and so on. Earning FPPs is based on the Gold Chip index below. Please note the earn rate below is reset at the beginning of each calendar month.

Frequent Player Points

Choose your own Only Poker size with our new resizable table option located on the bottom left of every gaming table. Create the Only Poker screen of your choice by pulling & dragging the screen to your perfect size, or select our ready to go tiling, cascade, minimize or maximum sized options.

Web Based Hand History

Playing poker online gives you a unique perspective on your game through hand histories. Reviewing these records can be your key to improving your game and sharing your successes with friends. Only Poker displays these hand histories in a unique and shareable format. If you’re interested in reviewing a hand, select the ‘last hand’ button from the top left corner of your game screen.

At Only Poker, not only can users view their hand history graphically but they can also send the hand history directly to anyone else who can then click on the link to view the hand graphically as well. Simply choose ‘create sharable webpage’ to receive your unique hand history link. With this feature, every hand becomes its own webpage useable for website posting, forum chat and of course, bragging rites.

Player ID Changes

One of the benefits of playing online poker is the ability to play with anonymity. We protect our players by allowing our players to change their Player ID’s once every 7 days. To change your table nickname, simply visit the Cashier tab. Choose the edit button beside your Player Nickname and you’ll be prompted to submit a new name for your game play.
